Clara has previously been on temporary loan to the City of Olympia WA (June 2024 - June 2025) and on show at Ryan James Fine Arts (Kirkland WA) in September 2025.
Reprising our signature Odd Jelly Out form, Clara is a reimagining of Clara Pottle, a pioneer of women’s suffrage and the wife of Olympia founder, Edmund Sylvester. The thousands of blue and green in-laid resin cylinders are evocative of Washington state’s official colors, and a single flower - cast in the colors of the suffragist movement - is attached to Clara’s breast.
